1. SCOPE OF PARTICIPATION

It is an event that transports the participant to a pleasant sensory adventure. The night transforms the Cávado River into an ideal setting to appeal to the senses and emotions.

2. DESCRIPTION

The ascent will cover a distance of 6 km, starting at 9:00 PM in Esposende and ending at Barca do Lago in Fonte Boa. The ascent will be done in K2 boats or Stand Up Paddle boards.

3. REGISTRATION

Registration can be made on this website. After registering, you must pay the Registration Fee (see point 7).

4. PROGRAMME FOR 16 AUGUST – 19H30

7:30 p.m. – Participants gather at Proriver Park – Fonte Boa
8:00 p.m. – Transfer of participants from Fonte Boa to Esposende
8:30 p.m. – Start of the river ascent
10:30 p.m. – End of the ascent

5. PARTICIPATION / REGISTRATION FEE

Registration will be limited to a maximum number of 200 participants.

Registration for the Night Ascent of the Cávado River in KAYAK will cost €20 per person.

Registration includes:

  • Kayak + life jacket + paddle
  • Light kit;
  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Insurance;
  • Transport of the participant.

Registration for the Night Ascent of the Cávado River in STAND UP PADDLE will cost €25 per person.

Registration includes:

  • Stand Up Paddle + life jacket + Paddle;
  • Light kit;
  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Insurance;
  • Transport of the participant.

Registration includes:

  • Light kit;
  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Insurance.

6. SECURITY

Security is an essential factor for PRORIVER in the fulfillment of any event, as follows:

  • During the Up the Cávado River Activity, the use of a Life Jacket is mandatory;
  • Several organization vessels will support and accompany the activity;

7. PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

Upon registration, the participant will appear on a List of Subscribers, however, participation only becomes effective after paying the Registration Fee.

After registering, you must pay by bank transfer to the NIB: 0035 0288 0003 2692 2308 4, sending proof of payment to: eventos@proriver.pt

8. IMAGE UTILISATION

By registering for the activity, participants authorise the capture and use of images/photographs of the event for promotional and commercial purposes by Proriver (social media, website and promotional materials).
