1. SCOPE OF PARTICIPATION

It is an event that takes the participant on a pleasant adventure along the Cávado river.

2. DESCRIPTION

The activity starts with the crossing of Rio da Proriver to Gemeses, where a 5 km walk to Perelhal begins. After the snack break, provided by Proriver, the descent will be 6 km long, starting at 11:15 am, finishing at Barca do Lago, Fonte Boa. The descent will take place in K2 or Stand Up Paddle boats.

3. Registration

Registration can be made on this website. After registering, you must pay the Registration Fee (see point “Participation / Registration Fee“).

4. PROGRAMME 25 JUNE - 9:30 AM

9:00am – Concentration of participants at the Proriver Park – Fonte Boa
9:30am- Crossing by Barge (Proriver- Gemeses)/ Start of walk
11:00am – Snack break
11:15am- Beginning of River Descent
12:45pm- End of the activity

5. PARTICIPATION / REGISTRATION FEE

The registration in the walk and descent by KAYAK of Cávado river will cost 20 euros per person.

Registration includes:

  • Kayak + life jacket + paddle;
  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Snack;
  • Crossing by Barge;
  • Insurance;

The inscription to the walk and descent by STAND UP PADDLE of Cávado river will cost 25 euros per person.

Registration includes:

  • Stand Up Paddle + life jacket + Paddle;
  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Snack;
  • Crossing by Barge;
  • Insurance;

If you bring your own material, registration will cost 15 euros per person.

Registration includes:

  • Technical T-shirt;
  • Snack;
  • Crossing by Barge;
  • Insurance;

Entries will be limited to a maximum number of 80 participants.

6. SECURITY

Security is an essential factor for PRORIVER in the fulfillment of any event, as follows:

  • During the Down the Cávado River Activity the use of a Life Jacket is mandatory;
  • Several boats from the organisation will provide support and accompany the descent.

7. PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

Upon registration, the participant will appear on a List of Subscribers, however, participation only becomes effective after paying the Registration Fee. After registering, you must pay by bank transfer to NIB: 0035 0288 0003 2692 2308 4, and send proof of payment by the above-mentioned date to: eventos@proriver.pt
