1. OBJECTIVE

To provide a unique experience of contact with nature, promoting sport and socialising as a group, through a kayak trip down the Cávado River.

2. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY

The descent of the Cávado River will be approximately 7 km long, with the route going downstream, starting in Mariz and finishing at the ProRiver facilities (Barca do Lago). The activity will take place in double kayaks (K2) and will be accompanied by members of the organisation in support boats.

3. Registration

Entries must be made via the official ProRiver website. After completing the form, the participant must pay the registration fee (see point 7) in order for the registration to be considered valid.

4. PROGRAMME - 27 JULY (SUNDAY)

09:00am – Meeting of participants at ProRiver (Barca do Lago)
09:30am – Transport of participants and material to the starting spot in Mariz
10:00am – Start of the descent
12:00pm – Expected arrival at ProRiver

5. PARTICIPATION / REGISTRATION FEE

Registration is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

Registration costs €20.00/person and includes:
– Kayak, paddle and life jacket
– Transport to the starting point
– Participation insurance
– Technical T-shirt for the event

6. SECURITY

Safety is a priority for ProRiver. Security is a The following measures will be ensured:

  • Mandatory use of a life jacket throughout the activity
  • Support boats will accompany the group along the route
  • Presence of security and first aid teams, ready to intervene in case of need
  • Compliance with DGS recommendations, if applicable at the time

7. PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

Registration will only be considered valid once the registration fee of €17.50 has been paid by bank transfer to the following IBAN:

8. IMAGE UTILISATION

By registering for the activity, the participant authorises the capture and use of images/photos of the event for ProRiver’s promotional and commercial purposes, namely on social networks, the website and promotional materials.
