Night descent of the Cávado River on Kayak / Stand Up Paddle

It is an event that transports the participant to a pleasant sensory adventure. The night transforms the Cávado River into an ideal setting to appeal to the senses and emotions. During the descent, the participant is surprised by a constant alternation between lights and shadows.
The descent will be 7 km long, starting at 9:30 pm in Mariz and ending at Barca do Lago, in Fonte Boa. The descent will be carried out in K2 boats (two-person boats).
Registration can be made on this website. After registering, you must pay the Registration Fee (see point “Participation / Registration Fee“).
Program
8:00 pm – Opening of the Secretariat – Proriver Park – Fonte Boa
9:30 pm – Concentration of Participants at Proriver Park – Fonte Boa
9:00 pm – Transfer of Participants from Fonte Boa to Mariz
9:30 pm – Start of the descent
1:00 pm – End of Activity
Participation / Registration Fee
Entries will be limited to a maximum number of 130 participants.
Enrollment in the Night KAYAK Descent of the Cávado River will cost €17.5 per person.

Enrollment in the Night Descent at STAND UP PADDLE on the Cávado River will cost €22.5 per person.

Security
Security is an essential factor for PRORIVER in the fulfillment of any event, as follows:
- During the night descent of the Cávado River, the use of a Life Vest is mandatory;
- Several vessels of the organization will support and accompany the Descent.
Payment and Registration Fees
Upon registration, the participant will appear on a List of Subscribers, however, participation only becomes effective after paying the Registration Fee.
